Turkey Tail mushrooms boost immunity in women with breast cancer.

Turkey Tail supercharges the immune system.

Turkey Tail mushrooms can boost your immune system so significantly that it may even shrink breast cancer tumors.

A $2 million, seven-year clinical study funded by the National Institutes of Health and jointly conducted by the University of Minnesota and Bastyr University showed that Trametes versicolor, or turkey tail mushroom, in freeze-dried form, dramatically boosts immune function for women with Stage I-III breast cancer─ possibly shrinking tumors.
Turkey Tail mushrooms corrects immune deficiencies

Researchers discovered that the immune system benefits increased when a daily dose was administered. They also saw no adverse side effects on the women.

The findings may be the most important health discovery for mycologists and health researchers since the invention of penicillin (which is derived from the fungus Penicillium)─ and vital information for breast cancer patients.

documentary investigating the world of routine breast screening

This documentary investigates the world of routine breast screening… early with mammography, breast cancer cases have risen to epidemic proportions.

The truth about the routine breast cancer screening programme. The biggest catastrophe in women’s health is taking place right now right before our eyes. Healthy women all over the world have been disfigured, disempowered and brainwashed into believing that their beautiful nurturing breasts have only one objective…to kill them.

I am one of them.

Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) vs. Mammography

A study conducted at Lund University, Sweden, shows that a 3-D screening method called digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) is significantly better than mammography at detecting the potentially fatal disease.
Flat versus 3D. For the study, the researchers recruited 7,500 women between the ages of 40 and 74 and screened them for breast cancer using both traditional two-view mammography and one-view DBT.

“Our study is unique since it is the only population-based trial that investigates breast tomosynthesis alone compared to mammography, and our first results are really striking,” Dr. Sophia Zackrisson

Whereas traditional mammography produces one flat image of the breast — which can obscure tumors — DBT produces X-ray images from multiple angles, which allows doctors to see a layered image of the breast. In addition, one-view DBT uses a lower radiation dose compared to two-view mammography.

More on the subject of the toxic effects of mammogram radiation is a very interesting article by Dr. Mercola.

A new study published in the British Medical Journal (December 2011) confirmed that breast cancer screening may cause women harm, especially during the early years after they start screening.2 This harm is largely due to surgeries, such as lumpectomies and mastectomies, and other (often unnecessary) interventions. The study highlights losses in quality of life from false positive results and unnecessary treatment.

The toxic effects of mammogram radiation are finally being acknowledged as a significant factor in the development of breast cancer. Several recent studies have clearly shown that breast cancer screenings may be causing women more harm than good.

I can’t believe it’s not Cancer! I wish I had a Tardis.

On February 6, 2015, I read this article posted on, which was titled DCIS is NOT Cancer! After reading this posting by dp4peace, I cried so hard like it was the first time I heard “You have Cancer”.

The posting was in fact an excerpt from Dr Laura Esserman, an article published in the National Breast Cancer Foundation of Australia, back in November 2013. That brought my tears to a river flow. According to Dr Esserman, DCIS is not an emergency.

Why was I so fearful to research about my type of cancer before my mastectomy? The fear was placed in my brain in 2006, when my own mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did research about it back then, boy do I remember the graphic images that surfaced from that Google search. From that research and the people around me, I learned a bit about organic foods, but mostly what I learned was that the surgical options for breast cancer were not that great in terms of reconstruction after the mastectomy. It scared the shit out of me – I never research anything else related to breast cancer after that.

The fear grew even further after my diagnosis last year. Because the tumors were located as close as 1mm to the chest wall and the nipple, the doctors insisted that a mastectomy was what they had to do, and they had to do it right now… After reading what cause cancer in the first place even though I have history of cancer and things I can do to regress this disease with a plant-base diet – I wish I had a Tardis to bring me back in time.

Surgery day!

Surgery day!

I had a friend who was telling me to look into other alternatives medicines, but when you are faced with mortality, your judgment is quite impaired. The fear and negative emotions are taking over. I wish she had insisted and tell me otherwise, but when you get a diagnosis with something with the word “cancer” in it, your reality gets distorted.

I wish I had a Tardis to bring me back in time

People abandon you because they don’t know what to say or simply because you have become this shit load of negative energy and no one including yourself wants to be around you… I was angry and not fun at all, there are several stages of emotions this disease brings along, but that stage of anger and black-cloud-above-your-head was dreadful to my family, my friends, my clients and myself.

I was angry at everything and everyone and became quite isolated, before the surgery, my inspirational quotes were my only friends and support system. After the mastectomy, my obsession with researching the causes of cancer and writing about it became my new hobby. This is a life-changing event and it makes you change your priorities in life.

DCIS is over rated!

I can’t believe it’s not cancer!

My new priority is to help other woman prevent breast cancer in the first place. I also want to help women that were just diagnosed with DCIS to take the time to research what this stupid disease is about before taking this drastic decision of chopping it all off like I did. It fucking hurts like hell, you will never be able to sleep on your belly again, you will never feel an arousal from being touch on your breast and the reconstruction options are nothing to dream about.

Perhaps in my case it was the best option, but was it really?

Do You Know What Your Oncotype Score Is? It Can Help Save You From Unnecessary Treatment! by
Do You Know What Your Oncotype Score Is? It Can Help Save You From Unnecessary Treatment!

Mammograms and dense breast

Did all those years of squishing, poking and radiation caused my early cancer?

Was this cyclic self-fulfilling prophecy responsible for my cancer? Perhaps it was, as most of you know that we become what we think, right?

After my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, fear of cancer was setting in, especially knowing my family medical history.

I went for my routine mammograms every year which turned our normal for years on end. I had a few scares every couple years or so, and I had several ultra sounds and biopsies, all came back false positive actually. Throughout the years my breast took quite a beating and my constant fear of getting cancer did not help one bit, I’m sure!

My doctors words were I had what’s called “dense breasts” which makes it difficult for radiologists to see potential cancer in the mammogram results, but my doctor didn’t tell me that fact. Despite my due diligence, my cancer went undetected for several years, at least five. If you have dense breast and you are at risk, get an MRI; it’s the only way to detect cancer if you have dense breast.

Emerging research shows that mammograms may actually cause breast cancer. In other words, the test that’s being performed to screen the disease is actually causing it! In my experience, mammograms on dense breast are pretty much useless and so are ultrasounds.

The screening agency I was at took ONLY two angles of the breast each time, knowing that me, the patient, had dense breast and family history of cancer. Did they missed it because of the angles, or my dense breast, or maybe just bad luck.

PS: I am a French Canadian writing in English, you probably got that if you are English. All grammar and errors are welcomed to be corrected.

Facts: It’s believed that up to 50% of women have dense breasts.

Know your Lemons, Melons and Coconuts

Squeez'em - do it everyday! Avoid Breast Cancer by knowing your lemons, melons or coconuts. Know them well, enough to be able to feel it when something is wrong.

I had tiny lemons, it should have been an easy task for me, but no, I was afraid to do so. Don’t be scared like me who got discouraged by dense breast. Early detection is the key factor in survival, know them more than well.

Below is just the beginning, an intro to the start of my Know Your Lemons breast awareness campaign. I will go in details on how you should do it, but in the mean time – share the message.
